AI Lab (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates Contract Maker (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. 1. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, display name, and (if you sign in with Google) your profile photo and Google account identifier.
• Content you provide: templates, instructions, uploaded Knowledge Files, and the documents the Service generates for you.
• Billing information: subscription status and customer identifiers from our payment provider. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers.
• Usage and technical data: limited logs and diagnostic information generated when you use the Service.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• provide, operate, and improve the Service;
• generate documents on your behalf, which involves sending the relevant template content, instructions, and Knowledge Files to our AI provider;
• authenticate you and secure your account;
• process subscriptions and manage billing; and
• comply with our legal obligations.

3. Service providers and disclosure

We share information with trusted third-party providers only as needed to run the Service:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, file storage, and hosting.
• OpenAI — AI generation. Content needed to produce your documents is sent to OpenAI for processing.
• Stripe — secure payment processing and subscription management.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments. We do not sell your personal information. Some providers may store or process data outside Australia; where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with this policy.

4. Data security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. Your content is scoped to your account and is not shared with other users. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and we delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period after it is no longer required, unless we are required to retain it by law.

5. Your rights

You may access and update much of your information from within the Service. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We will respond in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local browser storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and update the “last updated” date above.
